She was born in Gardner Township Oct. 29, 1896, the daughter of Henry and Appelena Wahlsmith Schlicht. Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a custodian at Dubois School. Her husband, Edward J. Germann, died in 1939. A brother and two sisters also preceded her in death.
Mrs. Germann was a member of Faith Lutheran Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Doris Stevens of New Berlin and Dorothy McAuley of Normal; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Services at Bisch Memorial Home, with the Rev. Wellington Witkop officiating. Burial in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
