TYLER - Gene Havenhill, 68, died Sunday, Dec. 19, 2010.
Services [were held] at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Highland Baptist Church in Pampa with the Rev. Paul Nachtigall officiating. Burial [was] in Wheeler Cemetery in Wheeler by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa.
Mr. Havenhill was born July 19, 1942, in Wheeler. He was a resident of Tyler since 1980. He was a freelance court reporter in Tyler.
Gene was a member of Green Acres Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his father, Grady F. Havenhill, on Feb. 14, 2000.
The family suggests memorials be to Hospice of East Texas, 4111 University Blvd., Tyler, TX 75701.

In June of 1979, Gene married Patsy Ragle Morris – they lived most of their married life in Tyler, Texas and were divorced in 1998.
