Arnold Lammert, 80, of Kuykendall Community, died in a Brenham hospital Monday at 4:30 am.

Funeral services will be held at the Immanuel Lutheran Church of Wiedeville Wednesday at 2:30 pm with the Rev. Lauren Endahl officiating. Burial will be in the Prairie Lea Cemetery in Brenham. The Brenham Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include his wife, Tillie Kalbow Lammert of Kuykendall; and one sister, Mrs. Roy (Benita) Toler of San Antonio.

One brother and four sisters preceded him in death.

His nephews will serve as pallbearers.

Born at Kuykendall, Washington County, Texas, Sept. 26, 1896, the son of the late William and Minnie Wiede Lammert, he was baptized and confirmed in the Immanuel Lutheran Church of Wiedeville. He was educated at Wiedeville and Blinn College.

He was married to Miss Tillie Kalbow June 4, 1918 in the Immanuel Lutheran Church of Wiedeville.

He was a veteran of World War One and engaged in farming and ranching.

A member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church of Wiedeville, he served on the church council for 14 years.
