She was a daughter of David and Cytha Jane Wilson Attebury and was married in Decatur in 1874 to Alfred T. Brooks who died in 1931. A son and two daughters also preceded her in death. She leaves two daughters, Mrs. Emma Watson and Mrs. Rosa Rideout, Decatur; three sons, Clarence and Floyd of Galesburg and Roy of Texas; a sister, Anna Attebury of Oreana, 15 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren. The body is at the Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home where friends may call after 6 p.m. today. Funeral services will be at the funeral home chapel at 3 p.m. Friday.
