Mrs. Sarah A. Gowen passed away on Saturday afternoon, at the residence of her son, D. Smith Gowen at 43 Tilton Terrace, after a two week's illness of bronchitis.
She resided at Sanford in Maine for nearly
sixty years, but after the death of her husband there, she came to Lynn to make her home with her son.
She was a remarkably smart woman, retaining her smartness and brightness until the last.
Interment in Oakdale Cemetery.
