Vic, along with his brothers Mac and Bruno, operated the family business Pullman Wine & Liquors founded by their father in 1927 and later in Chicago Heights as Bernardi Brothers. An avid Chicago Bear fan, he enjoyed entertaining coaches and players at his stores over the years. After retirement, he spent the last 20 years next to his son. Vic operated Bernardi Insurance in Chicago Heights. Husband for 59 years of Angeline, nee Valente; father of Cheryl (Richard Ladd) Corrado and Victor (Sandra) Bernardi; grandfather of Courtney Corrado, Cara, Ashley and Victor Bernardi; brother of the late Americo "Mac" (late Elsie) Bernardi, Italo "Bruno" Bernardi, and Irene (Daniel) Danahey; beloved uncle of many nieces and nephews.
