Wichitan Dies at Jacksboro
Jacksboro, Tex. (Special)--Mrs. Lula T. Hodgkins, 79 years old Wichitan, died Friday night in a Jacksboro Hospital. Prior to moving to Wichita Falls, in 1954, she had lived in Perrin, Texas. Mrs. Hodgkins was born June 22, 1881 in Texas.
Funeral serviced will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in Perrin Methosdist Church with burial in Willow Pond Cemetery south of Mineral Wells, Texas. Hawkins Funeral Home of Jacksboro is in charge of services.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Irene Prichard of Wichita Falls; four sons, Jess Hodgkins of Strawn, Texas, Lawrence of Phoenix, Arizona, Albert of Valley View, Texas and Ed of Petrolia, Texas; a brother, Jimmy Autrey of Mineral Wells; four sisters, Mrs. Hattie Glover, Mrs. Elner Glover and Mrs Josie Stewart, all of Mineral Wells, and Mrs. Maudie Goodman of Vernon, 28 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren, and one great great-granddaughter.
