Jo Nell Vaughan, 56 Springfield, died at 12:05 p.m. Saturday Sept. 14, 1996, in St John's Regional Health Center from a recent illness.
The daughter of Elmer E.and Juanita(Gann) Cox, she was born Oct. 18, 1939, in Springfield. JoNell was a graduate of Central High School Class of 1957 and was employed by Smitty's floral department.
She is survived by her husband Don, whom she married March, 16, 1957; twin daughters and their husbands, Jan and Stan Guin and Jean and Jay Underwood, all of Rogersville; three grandchildren, Emily and Whitney Guin, and Clint Underwood; three step-grandchildren, Aimee Guin, Wendy Dukewits and Jill Underwood; her father, Elmer E Cox, Springfield; a brother, Mike Cox, Sarasota FL; a nephew, Cory Cox, Sarasota, FL; two aunts, Beulah Moore, Santa Paula, CA, and Willa Jean Long, Bolivar; and numerous cousins, other relatives, and many friends.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 17, 1996 in Holland Cemetery, near Rogersville, with Richard Locke officiating under the direction of Greenlawn Funeral Home South.
Visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday Sept, 16, 1996 in the funeral home.
