Jesse P. Snyder, 81, of 2937 13th, NW, Canton, died in East Avenue Nursing Home this city, Monday following an illness of one week. He had been a Canton resident for 20 years and a former employee of Troy Laundry in that city. He had retired from that company 10 years ago and later worked for the Ohio State Highway Department in Cadiz. He was born in Germano, Ohio, Feb. 8, 1884. His wife Mae, died in 1961.
Surviving are five daughters Mrs. James F. (Ruth) Goudy with whom he had made his home, Mrs. Paul (Martha) Young, and Mrs. Carl (Leona) Pissocra, both of this city and Mrs. Dorothy Prosser and Mrs. William (Delores) Allen of Canton; one grandchild; two sisters Mrs. Zed Roof of Kilgore and Mrs. Kenneth George of North Canton; and two brothers, Emmet of North Canton and Earl of Germano. Funeral services will be at the Arnold Funeral Home, 817 N. Market ave. Canton, Thursday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. W. L. Steffens officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hills Cemetery.

NOTE--All the people in this obituary are all now deceased. Cousin Delores was the last survivor, and she died in 2010.
