Henry Reineck Plymouth Post July 10, 1909

Kiel—Henry Reineck, a well-known resident of Town Rhine died at his home in Town Rhine on Friday at the age of 66 years. He was born In Germany and came to America in the 1840's with his parents and they immediately settled in Town Rhine. He served in the Civil War with the Wisconsin Regiment. Besides his wife he is survived by three sons and one daughter. The funeral is Monday afternoon.

Reineck, Henry (July 4, 1844-July 2, 1909 –husband of Lisette Mueller [married Feb. 17, 1870 in religious ceremony in Town of Rhine, Sheboygan County] –son of Heinrich Reineck [1804-1868] and Johanna Funk [1809-1902] –brother to Barbara Reineck Mueller [1844-1924] and Gertrude Reineck Mueller [1847-1934] who were married to brothers of Henry's wife Lisette Mueller –born in Nierstein, Grand Dukedom of Hessen, Darmstadt, Germany –in 1848 immigrated to the US with his parents, who settled in the Town of Rhine, Sheboygan County –was a veteran of the Civil War serving with Company H of the 26th Wisconsin Infantry –enlisted Aug. 22, 1862 as corporal and mustered out on June 13, 1865 –had been wounded in battle –farmer in Town of Rhine, Sheboygan County –from Jan. 10, 1871 to Dec. 27, 1898, Henry owned 12 acres of cedar swamp in the S1/2 of the SW1/4 of the SE1/4 and 6 acres in the S1/2 of the NE1/4 of the SW1/4 of Section 20, Town of Eaton –at time of death lived in Town of Rhine, Sheboygan County –died from "tuberculosis pulmolis") –buried at the Liberty Cemetery in Town of Franklin, Sheboygan County [marriage record Sheboygan 5-36] [death record Sheboygan 12-38]
