Per James L Zamarelli Sr.'s obituary:

WARREN -- James L. "Jimmy" Zamarelli, Sr., 74, passed away at 8:38 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 18, 2010, at his residence in the arms of his loving wife, Cecilia after a year long battle with cancer. He maintained a strong outlook with hopes and dreams for the future. However, he succumbed to a massive heart attack.

James was born on Aug. 12, 1936, in Warren, the only son of James and Virginia Venettacci Zamarelli. He was a graduate of Alliance High School.

He was a U.S. Air Force veteran having served during the Korean Conflict.

James was employed at General Motors Lordstown, retiring in 1996 after 31 years of service.

He was a member of St. James Catholic Church in Warren. He was a past president of the Secrest Elementary PTA. He was also a founding member of ITAM Post #30. James was a devoted Boxing and Cleveland Browns fan and was an avid golfer.

He was also a terrific dancer, having won many trophies with his wife throughout his life. James was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. He had an easygoing temperament and was always energetic and had a great sense of humor.

He will be deeply missed by his devoted wife Cecilia Cruz Zamarelli; sons, James L. (Stacy) Zamarelli Jr. of Marysville and Joey C. (Angela) Zamarelli of Lancaster; grandchildren, Nicholas, Tylor, Abigail and Aynsley.

Friends may call 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday and 9 to 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel, 1884 North Road N.E. in Warren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. James Catholic Church, 2106 Willard S.E., Warren with the Rev. Charles W. Crumbley officiating.

Burial will be in Pineview Burial Park with full Military honors.

The family requests in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to The Hope Center for Cancer Care, 1745 Niles Cortland Road, Warren, Ohio 44484 or St. James Restoration Fund, 2532 Burton St. S.E., Warren, Ohio 44484.
