Ruth Finley was listed in the New Providence Presbyterian church cemetery records.
On the 1850 Dist. 51, Rockbridge Co., VA census, I found RUTH Funly, 66 residing with the Jonathan Brooks, 49 and Maria W Brooks, 38 family (age 2 to 18), all VA born.

Original 1886 Riverheads District, Augusta Co., VA Death Register, line 18, page number is unlisted.
