A memorial service for Nora M. Smith, 83, of El Dorado, will be held Saturday, May 20 at 11 a.m. at the Highway Bible church, arrangements by Chapel of the Pines. Pastor Art Kaufman will conduct the service. Private interment was held at the El Dorado cemetery.
Mrs. Smith died May 15 at a local hospital. She was born in Illinois and lived 71 years in California, the past 67 years in El Dorado county.
She was a member of the Highway Bible church.
Mrs. Smith is survived by a daughter, Juanita J. Meyer of Placerville' a son, Edward Sackett of El Dorado, a sister, Mable Dawson of Albany, and seven grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren."
