Johnny A. Simonin, 82, of Fulton, Missouri went home to his Lord on Sunday, May 11, 2008 at Boone Hospital in Columbia.

He was born May 5, 1926 in St. Louis, Missouri, a son of John H. and Cleo (Holiday) Simonin. On July 4, 1964, he was united in marriage to June Marie Giaimo and she survives at their home outside Fulton.

Johnny served his country in the United Stated Army and after his discharge he worked for the Department of Revenue and then went to work for the Fulton State Hospital as a truck driver in the warehouse until his retirement.

His greatest loves were for his wife, his family and the Lord. Johnny enjoyed his life on the farm where he had countless animals that he adored, especially his dog. He was a giver, compassinate and appreciated the simple things in life and was so very wise.

He is also survived by his children, Johnny N. Simonin of Fulton and Lisa Easley of Russellville, two grandchildren, Ashley and Katherine Simonin of Auxvasse, two brother-in-law's, Sam (Beverly) Giaimo and Joe (Jackie) Maniscalso, two sister-in-law's, Mamie Romano and Sara (Charles) Kewiderall, all of St. Louis, nieces, Kimberly (Ernest) Bell of Fulton and Kathy King of Virginia, great nieces, Amanda (Johnny) Singleton of Fulton and Stacy (Jim) Zink of Tennessee, numerous other nieces and nephews along with great-nieces and nephews.

He was preceeded in death by a brother, Norman Simonin and one sister, Eileen King.

Visitation from 5-7PM Tuesday, May 13, 2008 at Debo

Funeral Home in Fulton. Funeral Services will be 11:00AM on Wednesday, May 14 at the funeral home. Interment will be held at Old Auxvasse Presbytarian Church in Kingdom City, Missouri.
