Antone V. Terry, 84, of Nampa, died Sunday, June 4, 2000, at a Nampa hospital. Antone was born May 14, 1916, in Mesquite, Nevada, to Edward S. and Florence (Woodbury) Terry. When he was young, the family moved to St George, Utah, where he was raised. He met Marian Linge in Mesquite and they were married on October 13, 1945, in Las Vegas and their marriage was later solemnized at the St. George LDS Temple. They moved to Nampa in 1951 where they have lived since. He worked for Amalgamated Sugar for 28 years. He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served two missions with his wife, one in Oklahoma and one in northern New Mexico. He also enjoyed being with his children and grandchildren. His family was very important to him and he enjoyed being together with them.

Antone is survived by his wife, Marian of Nampa; his children, Mary Lynne Spencer and husband, LaVar of Kaysville, Utah, David Terry and wife, Rose of Nampa, Elaine Hoxsie and husband, Archie of Nampa, Donna Carrell and husband, Dennis of Middleton, and JoAnn Nelson and husband, Kevin of Kearns, Utah; 26 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a sister, Hanna Covington and husband, Oral of Cedar City, UT; a brother, Ezra Terry and wife, Jeanen of Salt Lake City, UT; a brother, LaMar Terry and wife, Rhodell currently serving a mission in Japan; Dean Terry and wife, Carol of St. George; a sister in law, Barbara Terry of Monterey Park, California; and many other family members. He was preceded in death by two sons, Keith and Veryl Terry; two brothers, Sirls and Vivian Terry; and a sister, Norma Porter.
