John Franklin Fox, 88, a Hamilton Watch Co. retiree, formerly of Gordonville and Millersville, died Thursday morning at the Mennonite Home, where he was a resident. Death came after an illness of several months. He was the husband of Mary Irene Keller Fox, also of the Mennonite Home. The couple observed their 67th wedding anniversary Nov. 10. Fox retired from Hamilton Watch Co. in 1967. Previously, he was a silk weaver at the former Stehli silk mill. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Carl F. and Lydia Miller Fox. Besides his wife, surviving are two daughters, Betty J., wife of George Winters, New Holland, and Doris J., wife of Frank Neff, Millersville; two sons, Carl F., Lancaster, and John F.
