"David Southard, eighty five years old, a life long resident of Lakewood, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs William Chadwick, 415 Ridge Avenue, on Monday afternoon, following an illness of long duration.
Besides his daughter, Mr Southard is survived by a sister, Mrs Eva Huntley of Ocean City.
Funeral service was held yesterday from the Chadwick home, the Rev Robert L Blackman, pastor of the Southard Methodist Episcopal Church officiating. Burial was made in Woodlawn Cemetery".
