Rhodes, Peggy B., 77 of Chattanooga, died Monday in a local hospital. Survivors include her husband, Leon G. Rhodes Sr.; two daughters, Margaret Sue Elliot, Chattanooga, and Sharron A. Downing, West Covina, Ca.; son, Leon G. Rhodes Jr.,Grants Pass, Or.; four sisters, Georgia Blevins and Grace Sissom, both of Chattanooga, Jean Duke, Chickamauga, Ga., and Dot Silk, Cucamonga, Ca.; 11 grand children, 19 great grand children,; several nieces and nephews. Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Tyner Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at Chattanooga Funeral Home, East.
