Capt. James Kasson was the son of James Kasson and his first wife, Esther Duncan. He married Reliance Hatch on Jan. 16, 1771 in Kent, CT. Their children: Myron, Clarissa, Lydia Ann, Clarinda, Lydia(2nd), Adam Clark, James Hatch, Esther, Clarissa(2nd), Joseph Milton, Reliance and Theron.
