Floyd Harvey Baskette, 94, of Diboll, Texas passed away Friday, December 17, 2010 in Lufkin, Texas.
Graveside services will be held at Davis Cemetery in Colmesneil, Texas.
Harvey was born December 29, 1915, to Hugh & Ora Dunn Baskette in Englewood, Tennessee.
He was a WWII U.S. Navy veteran, survivor of Pearl Harbor and the Battle of Guadalcanal. He loved fishing, hunting, camping and enjoyed the Astros & Cowboys.
He was preceded in death by his parents & brother, Bill Baskette.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Betty Dean Baskette of Diboll, TX; son & daughter-in-law, Jerry & Betty Baskette of Benbrook, Tx, daughters & son-in-law, Kathy & Danny Price of Granbury,TX, Suzanne Baskette of Cleveland, TN & Bettina Baskette of Diboll, TX, brother, Arvil Buster Baskette of McKinleyville, CA; sister, Ora Lee Melton of Athens, TN, 11 grandchildren & 13 great grandchildren.
