Victoire (Lussier) Doyon, 84, of Springfield died Sunday in Agawam. She was a 25-year seamstress for the former Victoria Dress Shop on Williams Street. She retired in 1975. Born in St. Theodore D'Acton, Province of Quebec, Canada, and educated in Woonsocket, R.I., she later moved to Norwalk, Conn., prior to moving to Springfield in 1941. She was a communicant of St. Joseph Church and a member of the Ladies of Saint Anne Sodality. She also belonged to Les Dames Franco Americaine. Her husband, Raoul Doyon, died in 1979. She leaves two daughters, Marie Alice Lavallee of Springfield and Patricia J. Proulx of Enfield, Conn.; three sisters, Sister Laurette Lussier of the Sisters of Good Shepard of Toronto, Canada, Madeleine Whitehead and Therese Tourigny, both of Norwalk, Conn.; four grandchildren; and several nephews and nieces. Another daughter, Rose Doyon, died in 1942. The funeral will be Wednesday morning from the St. Pierre Springfield Funeral Chapels, with services in the church and burial in St. Michael Cemetery , Springfield. Calling hours are Tuesday afternoon and evening. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Church Memorial Fund, 82 Howard St., Springfield 01105.
