Jack N. Bell, 92, of Deport, died in the Deport Nursing Home Monday, February 19, 1996.

Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 20, in Highland Cemetery in Deport with the Rev. Sam Campbell officiating.

Mr. Bell was born February 1, 1904, in Deport, a son of James Frank Bell adn Minnie Abigail Grant Bell. He was a farmer and worked at the Deport Cotton Gin several years. He was a WORLD WAR II Veteran, seving in the US ARMY as a Corporal in the 130th Basic Flying Training Squadron AAF.

He was the last of a pioneer family, being preceded in death by his parents and these brothers and sisters: John Dee Bell, Norma Bell, Corry Bell, Stanley Bell, Roger Bell, Wilma Bell Anderson, Russie Grant Bell and Rankin Donald Bell.

Survivors include nieces, Regina Webb and Madeline Norman, who have been his care-givers a number of years; several nieces and nephews; and numerous cousins; and a sister-in-law, Ruth Bell of Garland.
