Reginal Mortimore Bell, 70, was found dead in his bed Sunday evening at his home in Rugby.

A funeral service was held Monday afternoon at the Deport Baptist Church, conducted by the Presbyterian paster, Rev. Carter McKemy.

Interment was in the Highland Cemetery.

Pallbearers were J.A. Griffin, William Rozell, Donald Roach, Carl Wood, Frank Griffin, and Murray Franklin.

Deceased was born December 8, 1870, in Clayton, Alabama, and came to this section years ago.

He was married to Miss Ellen May Grant at Rugby on December 12, 1894.

He had been a member of the Baptist Church since 1894 and was a teacher and lover of vocal music.

Survivors include his wife; four daughters, Mrs. W.H. Nance of Paris, Mrs. Earl Grogan and Miss Dorris Bell of Rugby and Mrs. Addie Bush of Dallas; three sons, George Bell of Burbank, CA, Mack Bell of Detroit, MI, and Furman Bell of Hollywood, CA; two brothers, Alvin Bell of Abilene and Claude Bell of Westbrook.
