COL. MOOMAU; SERVED AT WALTER REED

Lt. Col. E. Park Moomau, 50, registrar at Walter Reed Army Hospital from 1951 to 1955, died in retirement yesterday at Martin, Tenn.

He had spent 27 years in the army, enlisting as a private and working his way up to become a specialist in medical administration.

Col. Moomau served at posts all over the United States and shortly before WW II, in the Phillippine Islands and in China.

His last assignment was at Walter Reed. He was a patient there for some months before he left the service.

A Mason he belonged tp Sumptner Lodge 419, Hot Springs, Ark.

Col. Moomau is survived by his wife Ruth, and two daughters, Beverly and Susan.

He also leaves his mother, Susan Moomau of Medicine Lodge, Kan., where he was born; two brothers, Walter, of Lake City, Iowa, and Frank, of Newton, Kan.; and three sisters, Mrs, Hugo Thom, of Isabel, Kan., Mrs. George Hogan, of Medicine Lodge, and Mrs. Wilburt Lawrence, of Gilroy, Calif.

Services will be held at the Douglas Murphy funeral home, Martin, at 3 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in East Side Cemetery there.

Note: Enos Park Moomau was married twice. His 1st wife was Esther Elizabeth Humphries they were married on February 02, 1930 in Garland Co., AR. His 2nd wife was Ruth Kempel.
