Hosea H. Black, a former Bienville Parish resident, of Conroe, Texas, died at 12:30 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Forest Hill Funeral Chapel in Conroe. Burial was at the Conroe Cemetery.
Black, a native of the Liberty Hill Community was a retired employee of United Gas. He was a member of the First Methodist Church of Conroe. Black, 71, has been in ill health for the past sixteen years.
Survivors include his wife; one son, Howard Black; one daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Spears and four grandchildren.
