Mrs. Merlin Piepnburg, 55, of 231 Wisconsin Ave., Brillion, died Thursday at Calumet Memorial Hospital, Chilton, following a lingering illness.
The former Alice Enneper was born March 24, 1920, in the Town of Charleston, a daughter of Albert and Clara Fischer Enneper.
She was married to Mr. Piepenburg May 17, 1941 at Rantoul.
The couple farmed in the Town of Rantoul until 1968 when they moved to Brillion.
She was a member of Faith United Methodist church, Brillion, and its Ladies Aid Society. She also was a Sunday school teacher and had been an organist and former Rantoul Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husaband; daughter, Wendy at home; three sons, Dennis, at home, and Wayne, Malone, and Stanley, Waukesha; a grandchild, a sister, Mrs. Orlando Krueger, Manitowoc, and a brother, Arno, Green Bay.
A son preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Faith United Methodist Church, the Rev. Paul Francis, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in the Rantoul Cemetery.
Friends may call the Wieting Funeral Home, Brillion, from 3 p.m. Saturday until noon Sunday and at the church until the time of services.
