Viola Mae Badgett, age 82, of Grapeland, Texas died December 14, 2010 at her residence. Burial in Davis Cemetery is under the direction of Bailey & Foster Funeral Home. She was born July 11, 1928 in Gore, Oklahoma, to the late Lester William and Georgia Lee Worley Butler. She was a housewife and a member of Felders Chapel Assembly of God. Mrs. Badgett was preceded in death by her husband, George H. Badgett; brothers, Samuel Floyd Butler, John Edward Butler, Raymon Lester Butler; sister, Edna Jewell Gregg; and grandson, Micah Drew White. She is survived by daughters, Marcia Kay Stuart, and Teresa Ann White and husband Don; son, George Henry Badgett III and wife Cheri; sister, Joyce Evelyn Burge; nine grandchildren; and fifteen great grandchildren.
