MOLLY YOST DIES AT 60
Mrs. Molly Yost, wife of Ruben Yost, died Sunday morning in a local hospital. Mrs. Yost had undergone major surgery 10 days ago and was progressing most satisfactorily until she suffered a circulatory stroke. The family home is on Seedling Mile Road.
Arrangements for the funeral services are pending and will be announced later by the Livingston Sondermann Funeral home.
Mrs. Yost was born Jan. 21, 1904 in the German settlement Frank, Russia to Henry and Marie Stroh Willman. The following year, the Willman family emigrated to Grand Island. She received her schooling here and grew to young womanhood.
She and William Craft were married in April of 1925 in Council Bluffs, Iowa. During their married life, they had resided in Creston, Iowa at Aurora and finally Bremerton, Washington. Mr. Craft died in 1947. Mrs Craft returned to Grand Island.
On Feb. 19, 1953 she and Ruben Yost were married in Grand Island. They had made their only home on Seedling Mile Road.
Mrs. Yost was a member of Salem Evangelical United Brethren Church. She was affiliated with the Woman Missionary Society of her church and with the Union Pacific Old Timers Club Auxiliary.
Mrs. Yost is survived by her husband; two sons, Richard Craft of Great Falls, Mont., and Airman 1-C William Craft, now serving in the Air Force at Manila in the Philippines; two step-daughters, Mrs. John Preisendorf Jr., of Grand Island and Bonnie Yost of Beatrice; three brothers, George Willman of Council Bluffs and John and David Willman both of Grand Island; two sisters Mrs. John Hofferber and Mrs. E. W. Woodruff both of Grand Island and five grandchildren..

RITES FOR MRS. YOST
Funeral services for Mrs. Ruben Yost, a member of a prominent Grand Island family, were held Thursday afternoon at Salem Evangelical United Brethren Church.
The Rev. Melvin Koelling, pastor of the church conducted the service. Mrs. William Ferguson and Mrs. E. J. Browning sang. The organist was Mrs. Richard Hodtwalker.
The pallbearers were Kenneth Hofferber, Robert Woodruff, Leonard Willman, David Willman, John Willman jr., and Douglas Willman, nephew of Mrs. Yost. Burial was in Grand Island Cem.
Present from out of the city were Mr. and Mrs. Richard Craft and family, Great Falls, Mont;, Miss Bonnie Yost, Beatrice; and relatives and friends from Harvard, Minneapolis, Minn; Omaha, Yuma, Colo; Sutton and Hastings.
