Albin R. Lassiter, 85, of 562 Elevator Rd., died Friday, April 3, 1998 at Johnston Memorial
Hospital. Mr. Lassiter was a farmer and was the son of the late Lonnie Lassiter and Kitty
Strickland Lassiter. He was preceded in death by his wife, Clara Lee Lassiter (1979) and a son,
Randy Lassiter. Funeral 2 p.m. Monday at Minshew Funeral Home. Rev. Lorne Ross officiating.
Burial, Lees Chapel AC Christian Church Cemetery.
Surviving: daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Russell Keen of Raleigh; daughter-in-law, Kathy
Hardee Lassiter of Four Oaks; grandchildren, Phillip Keen of Zebulon, Deanna K. McDonald of
Sarosota, Fla., Marty R. Lassiter of Bentonville, Kimberly L. Canady, Ruth L. Strickland, Annie
L. Wood, all of Four Oaks; brother, Wade Lassiter of Four Oaks.
Memorials maybe made to Hospice of Johnston County or Johnston County Unit American
Cancer Society. Family at Minshew Funeral Home Sunday, 7-9 p.m.
