He was born Aug. 14, 1933, in Cambridge, the son of Homer L and Vera Casterline DuBois, and married Mariella Millhon in 1956. She survives.
He was a graduate of Cambridge High School, and retired as senior vice president of lending from First Federal Bank.
Donald was a member of First Christian Church in Cambridge, Wooster/Madisonburg Evening Lions for 46 years, the American Legion Post 68 of Wooster and the Downtown Rebounders. He was an avid poker player and golfer, enjoyed fishing and being a part of community activities. He served his country with the U.S. Army.
Surviving in addition to his wife are a son, Kevin (Tammy) DuBois of Wooster; a brother, Homer L DuBois Jr. of Charleston, S.C.; several nieces and nephews; his beloved grand dog Schotzy; and a special friend, Roger Murphy.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents and Linda DuBois.
Friends will be received at McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster, on Thursday from 6-8 p.m.
Services will be held at the funeral home on Friday, Dec. 17, at 1 p.m., with the Rev. Charles Cannon officiating. Interment will follow in the Wooster Cemetery.
