She was born in Jenkins County and was a homemaker and a member of Elam Baptist Church.
SURVIVORS: a son, John T. Newton, Jr. of Millen; three brothers, Ben Aaron of Millen, James M. Aaron of Dalton, and
Ira E. Aaron of Athens; two grandsons, John T. Newton III of Valdosta and Joseph R. Newton of Millen; and three
great-grandchildren.
FUNERAL: 3 p.m. today at Elam Baptist Church in Millen, burial in church cemetery.
