ETTIE V. McGEE
Mrs. McGee, 82, a guest of the Allegheny Lutheran Home, Hollidaysburg, formerly of 304 Penn St., Hollidaysburg, died at 10:10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 21, 1984, in Mercy Hospital, after an extended illness.
Mrs. McGee retired as a licensed practical nurse.
She was born March 15, 1901, in Roaring Spring, the daughter of Miles and Nancy E. (Burns) Helsel, and Aug. 4, 1920, married Fred W. McGee, who died Feb. 19, 1941.
Surviving are five children: Mary Ellen Ebersole of Worthington, Ohio; Paul E. of Rockville, Md., and Leona Rosser, Sheldon and Fred W. Jr. of Hollidaysburg; 14 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Also surviving is a sister, Vallerree Claar of Hollidaysburg.
Mrs. McGee was a life member of the First United Methodist Church, Hollidaysburg, and Faithful Workers Sunday School Class. She was also a member of Hollidaysburg Chapter, MOMS of America, where she had served as past national president.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today in the Plank & Stitt Funeral Home, Hollidaysburg.
McGEE -- Services for Ettie V. McGee of the Allegheny Lutheran Home, Hollidaysburg, will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the Plank & Stitt Funeral Home Inc., Hollidaysburg, by the Rev. Guy W. Camp III. Interment in Greenlawn Cemetery, Roaring Spring. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today in the funeral home.
