Arminda Barton Hilderbrand Dake
The story of Philip and Arminda Hilderbrand appears in a book about Western Oklahoma history called 'Prairie Fire'.
They lived near Poteau, Oklahoma Territory when their children were born, on what was later the late Senator Bob Kerr Ranch. They took a wagon train to Seminole County with other relatives.
After the death of her husband, Philip, she married a Carl Dake in 1914.
Arminda died in November, 1962.
