Marjorie Edith (Johnson) Rorabaugh, daughter of Johnnie and Ina (McElwain) Johnson, was born February 6, 1936 in Burrton, Kansas. She passed away Friday morning, December 10, 2010, at the age of 74.
On September 15, 1955, Marjorie was united in marriage with Raymond Rorabaugh in Miami, Oklahoma and this union was blessed with three children, Terry, Debra, and Jennifer.
The family made their home in Harper where Marjorie was kept busy babysitting the many children she enjoyed.
She loved to read and raising a garden to can all the vegetables for the winter. She also enjoyed watching her children in all their school activities and KU basketball, rarely missing a game on television.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Raymond January 6, 1992; and one brother, Larry Johnson.
She will be missed by her children, Terry Rorabaugh of Norman, OK, Debra Smith of Goddard, KS and Jennifer Rorabaugh of Harper; five sisters: Erma Jean Johnson also of Harper, Verda Base of Kingman, KS, Shirley Smith of Cheney, KS, Marilyn Johnson of Kansas City, MO, and Nadine Williams of Broken Arrow, OK; two grandchildren, Marcus and Kylie Rorabaugh; other relatives and many friends.
