Paul Davis Hardy, 69, Vernal, died May 5 in a Salt Lake hospital.

He was born July 25, 1904 in Vernal to Charles Allen and Stella Smith Colton Hardy. He married Edna Alice Karren December 30, 1930, in Vernal. He was a farmer and member of the LDS Church.

Survivors: widow, sons, daughter, Kenneth L., Byron K., both of Roosevelt; Mrs. Crawford (Raema) Hardy, San Gabriel, California; six grandchildren; six brothers, Elsworth C., Price; Elmo, Vernal; Blaine C., Wapato, Washington; Norwood, Vernal; Lawrence A., Salt Lake City; Harold, Layton; Mrs. Edna McKeachnie, Vernal; Mrs. Hiram (Sarah) Richardson, Vernal; Mrs. Isreal (Arline) Heaton, Provo and Mrs. Ezra (Buelah) Stewart, Jensen.

Funeral services were conducted Wednesday at the Vernal First Ward Chapel. Burial was in the Vernal Memorial Park.
