CANDOR - Mrs. Cora E. Anderson, 79, of 24 Dominic Road, died today, Wednesday,
Dec. 27, 1978, at Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, Pa.
Mrs. Anderson was a 50-year member of Candor Grange, 1466; a member of Tioga
Pomona Grange and New York State Grange; and a member of the Candor and Owego
Senior Citizens Clubs. She also attended McKendree Methodist Church of Candor.
She is survived by her husband, Dwight Anderson at home; a daughter, Mrs. Howard
(Jane) Cole of Owego; a son, Raymond C. Anderson of Candor; five granddaughters;
a sister, Mrs. Laura Dence of Candor; nieces and nephews.
Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Allen-Manzer Funeral Home in
Candor, with the Rev. George S. Hunsberger of McKendree Methodist Church
officiating.
Burial will be in Woodbridge Cemetery at Catatonk.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Candor Legion Ambulance Fund, or to the American Cancer
Society.
