Richard Lee Barron a resident of Henryetta passed away on December 10, 2010 in Henryetta at the age of 72. Born February 18, 1938 in Henryetta to Frank and Pauline (Atkinson) Barron Sr. Richard drove a gas truck for Conaco until his retirement from Stubbs Trucking in Henryetta. Richard married Carole Kelly on March 17, 1959 in the Henryetta Church of Christ where they both attended. He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother Frank Barron Jr. He is survived by his wife, Carole Barron, of the home; sons, Donald Baron of Henryetta and Mike and wife Felicia Barron of Morris; daughter, Laura Henderson of Henryetta; 6 grandchildren and one great grandson; sister, Suda Smith and husband Ernie of Henryetta; and sister in law, Wanda Barron of Henryetta. Services will be 2:00 pm, Monday, December 13, 2010 at the Church of Christ with Rex Walcher officiating. Interment will follow at the Salt Creek Cemetery under the direction of the Rogers Funeral Home.
