Mrs. Amanda Sangster Dies at Age of 77
Mrs. Amanda C. Sangster died at 3 a.m. today at the Butler brothers farm east of Estherville. Mrs. Sangster was 77 years old.

Death was caused by a blood clot, and she died before a physician could arrive. She was reported to have been well the night before, eating supper with others in the household. She had never had trouble with a blood clot before.

Mrs. Sangster's husband, Charles, died in 1932, and she is survived by one daughter, Hazel (Mrs. Roy Coleman) of near Superior, a brother, Eli Beachler of Rowley, a sister, Mrs. Florence Aunger from Texas and three grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Funeral plans have not been completed, pending word from Mrs. Coleman's son in California. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, April 8, 1948)


Rites at Church
Funeral services for Mrs. Amanda C. Sangster have been changed from the Sternborg chapel to the First Methodist church. The time will be 3 p.m. Sunday. The Reverence Cecil J.
