Eureka, IL - Faye Allece Shields, 88, of Eureka passed away at 2:55 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2010, at Eureka Apostolic Christian Home.

She was born on Sept. 25, 1922, in Mason City, Ill., to Ralph Dean and Charlotte May (Becker) Tomlin. She married Edward A. Shields in Mason City, Ill. He preceded her in death.

Surviving are her two daughters, Sandra (Roger) Bisanz of Washington and Vicki Shields of Peoria.

Faye worked as an office clerk for Armour Meat Packing in Peoria for several years before leaving to raise a family.

She was a former member of the Creve Coeur Christian Church and New Horizon Christian Church in Ocoee, Fla.

Cremation will be accorded. Inurnment will be at a later date in Woodlawn Cemetery in Gotha, Fla.
