William E Bohn of Route 5 Dotski Rd in Riggsville died this morning at his home following an apparent heart attack. Mr Bohn was born in Riggsville, May 22, 1911 and has always made it his home. He is the son of Mr and Mrs Charles Bohn of Huron Shore Drive. On May 22 he married Miss Lyda Stead at St John's Lutheran Church in Riggsville. For the past twenty five years he has been employed by the Cheboygan County Road Commission as a grader operator.
Besides his wife and parents he is survived by five daughters: Mrs. Dwight Elder (Donna) of Decatur, Michigan, Mrs Robert Hansen (Darleen) of Cheboygan, Mrs Dale Williams (Judy) of Levering, Mrs Ed Gasco (Margaret) of Cross Village and Mrs. Douglas Derhammer (Nancy) of Cheboygan, and two sons, - Robert of Decatur and David at home. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, one brother Charles Bohn Jr and one sister, Mrs Lawrence (Esther) Raische of Cheboygan.
The body is at the Nordman Funeral Home where friends may call beginning at 8:00 this evening. The body will be moved to St. Thomas Lutheran Church Thursday morning where friends may call from noon until time of the funeral service at 2:00. Rev Edmund Mantei will officiate at the service with burial in Inverness Township Cemetery in Riggsville.
