John Allen left 10 acres of land for a church and a cemetery, in 1942, but the church was never built on the land. The Allen Cemetery was put into a tax exempt status, on a religious charity tax exemption.
On "John's" death certificate; it states that John was buried in the Allen Cemetery. This cemetery is located on flat land some miles away from the Payne Cemetery.
There seems to be some controversy by some other find-a-graver's who refused to understand the truth of my grandfather's mother (Luthilda Thilda Payne (Allen) 1866-1947), father (Nathaniel Payne 1835-1913) blood-line. Nathaniel's birth parents our John Payne and Susanna Humphrey (Payne) who at a very young age had a child with John Payne and then he ran off with another women, leaving (Granny Suekie ) with with a baby, Nathaniel went to live with his Aunt and Uncle (Nancy Lewis (Payne) and Thomas Payne), they had a son name Nathaniel who had passed away. John and Thomas Payne are brothers, and their parents our Philadelphia Aryers (Payne) and John Payne. John and Thomas both had a brother named Nathaniel Payne, that is who Jris millard "John' Allen's grandfather is named after. Susanna Humphrey (Payne) went on and married John Wesley Payne. Nathaniel Payne (1835-1913) had taken care of his Aunt Nancy Lewis Payne at the end of her life after the death of his Uncle Thomas Payne. The 1880 cen. is just a mistake listing Nancy as mother, but Nathaniel did speak and feel like Nancy and Thomas were his parents, because he lived with them, on there farm as a child, but Nathaniel always knew his birth mother was Susanna Humphrey "Granny Suekie" Payne.
