Lucile June Burrier, 90, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Thursday, December 9, 2010 at Parkview Hospital. Born on August 29, 1920, she was the daughter of Peter and Pearl (Davis) Cannaday. She was a 1938 graduate of Muncie Central High School. She attendend Indiana Business College. She married the love of her life, James A. Burrier on Christmas Eve in 1952. She was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church. She and Jim were very active in forming the Fort Wayne Airstream Club. She was also a secretary at TMX and Essex United Technology. She is survived by her daughter Lisa (Christopher) Underwood, granddaughter Stephanny (Adam) Smith, grandsons, Aaron (Janai)Hartzell and Dr. Rev. Sean (Stephani) Hartzell, step-grandson Brian Underwood, great grandchildren , Grace Smith, Christian, Wesley and Addison Hartzell, sister-in-law Darlene Burrier, niece Linda (Mike) Moore, and nephew Phillip (Sandy) Cates. She was preceded in death by her husband, James in 2000, sister Mary Cates in 2007 and her parents. "A Special Thank you to Heritage Nursing Home".
Service is 1 P.M. Monday, December 13, 2010 at D.O. McComb&Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road, with Rev. Paul Offhaus and Dr. Rev. Sean Hartzell officiating. Calling is from 2-6 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial in Scipio Cemetery, Harlan, Ind. Memorials may be made to Messiah Lutheran Church.
