Herald Coaster, June 18, 1973:

Funeral services for Charlie Horak, 70, of Rosenberg, were scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Monday at the First Assembly of God Church in Rosenberg, with Rev. W.B. Shows and Rev. Jack Holt Jr. officiating. Burial will be in the Greenlawn Cemetery.

Horak had been a resident of Rosenberg for over 40 years and was a member of the First Assembly of God Church and the S.P.J.S.T.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lydia Horak of Rosenberg; three sons, Charlie Jr. of Lake Jackson, Daniel and John of Rosenberg; three daughters, Mrs. Julian Kujawa, and Mrs. William Lucas of Houston, and Mrs. Norman Coursey of Alvin. Also two sisters, Mrs. Emma Talasek of Temple and Mrs. Blanche Chupik of Rosenberg. He is survived by 11 grandchildren.
