Curtis Oleen Andreasen, 80, passed away Dec. 7, 2010, from complications due to cancer. He was surrounded by his wife and family. He is no longer suffering and is home again.

Curtis was born Oct. 11, 1930 in Elwood, Utah, to Golden and Fern Andreasen. He grew up working on the farm and attending school in Bear River City and later Bear River High School.

Curtis served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in France during the Korean War. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Curtis was an excellent welder and was a truck driver for most of his career. He worked for several trucking companies and retired from Bingham Trucking.

Curtis was a true cowboy and was always helping his brothers with their horses or working on a welding project. He loved his Harley-Davidsons and loved to fish and hunt when he was younger. He was a great dancer and loved dancing with his wife, Rita.

Curtis was preceded in death by his parents, his sisters, Rayola, Janice, Carolyn, and his brother, Gordon.

The family would like to thank Access Hospice Care and especially his nurse Annette for their love and care during his final days.

No formal viewing or funeral are being held for Curtis, as cremation services have already been performed.
