Gladys M. Ingle, 97, Vincennes, died at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 23, 2003, at Good Samaritan Hospital.

Born Sept. 9, 1905, in Knox County, she was the daughter of Robert and Ola (Wilson) Briner.

She was a member of the First Nazarene Church and was a homemaker.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Lemuel Ingle; a daughter, Viola Hurst; eight sons, Jerry Ingle, John Ingle, Robert Ingle, Sterling Briner, Delbert Briner, Henry Briner, Woodrow Briner, and Cecil Briner; and a sister, Pauline Fleenor.

Survivors include a daughter, Marjorie Ivers of St. Francisville, Ill.; a daughter-in-law, Clara Ingle of Lutz, Fla.; a sister-in-law, Aline Briner of St. Francisville; seven grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; a stepgreat-grandchild; and two great-great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at Goodwin Funeral Home by the Rev. Bryan Solomon.

Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
