The Denison Press, Friday, April 25, 1958. Funeral services for Mrs. Irene Ellen
Price, 50, were held at Bratcher Funeral Chapel Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock.
The Rev. Geo. B. Crawford and the Rev. Ernest L. Potter officiated and interment was in Mt. Zion cemetery. Mrs. Price died at her home, 409 E. Munson, Saturday at 3:37 am after two years of illness. She had lived in Denison 18 years.
Deceased was born in Collinsville, Nov. 6, 1907, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Adams. She attended school in Woodbine, Texas, and was married to F.W. Price in Gainesville Jan. 1, 1927. They lived in Waxahachie before coming to Denison. She was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church and the Order of Eastern Star. Survivors are her husband, her mother, Mrs. Ida Adams, Collinsville, a son, Glen Price, United States Navy Station at Grand Prairie; four brothers, Henry Adams, Collinsville, W.E. Adams, Henrietta, J.L. Adams, West Station, Texas and E.C. Adams, Norman, Okla., and a sister, Mrs. Lillie Bell Gibson, Collinsville.
