James Grant Nielson, 74, of Springville, died February 25, 1991, at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center. He was born December 3, 1916, in Mapleton, to James Clarence and Elda Peterson Nielson. He married Ruth Hansen October 13, 1949, in Salt Lake City. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He is survived by his wife, Springville, seven children, Robert Nielson, Payson; Jan Robbins, Centerville; Scott Nielson, Springville; Douglas Nielson, Spanish Fork; Greg Nielson, Patrice Nielson, both of Salt Lake City; Brand Nielson, Kaysville; 25 grandchildren; sister and brothers, Mrs. Wendell (Rhea) Twelves, Oran Nielson, both of Springville; Earl Nielson, Evanston, Wyoming. He was preceded in death by one son, Richard Nielson. burial was February 28, 1991.
