Mrs. Joseph E. Allen, 81, died in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Floyd Wrightsman, 1420 Central, at 5:30 a.m. Thursday. She had been in failing health but her condition became serious only two days ago. Born at Hoopston, Ill., she was married in 1899 and was a member of Congress Street Methodist church. Formerly of Stockwell, she and her husband had lived in the Wrightsman home for six years. Friends may call at Soller-Baker chapel at 10 a. m. Saturday, Rev. Newton T. Gottschall officiating; burial in Johnson cemetery, Stockwell. A Grand daughter, Mrs. E. max Snyder of Lafayette, and four great-grandchildren survive..
