Bobbie A. Bragg, age 83, of Wilmington went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 7, 2010, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
Bobbie especially adored her one and only grandson, Daniel Fetner. Daniel adored his grandmother as well and he meant a lot to her. On more than one occasion, Daniel lifted his grandmother's spirits while she was in hospice care. She was a member of the Wrightsville United Methodist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Jack Bragg, her parents; Oliver Henry Aiken and Lullie Lyon Aiken; two sisters, Faye Mills and Sylene Molloy.
She is survived by her two daughters, Judy Bragg of Goldsboro and Jill Fetner and her husband, Chip and their son, Daniel all of Wilmington; a brother, Baxter Aiken of Creedmoor, NC, further survived by cousin, nieces, nephews and friends.
A visitation will be held from 6:00PM to 8:00PM on Friday, December 10, 2010, at the Coble Ward-Smith Funeral Home, 3915 Oleander Drive, Wilmington, NC 28403.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday December 11, 2010 at Coble Ward- Smith Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Bauman officiating
A graveside service will follow at GreenLawn Memorial Park, 1311 Shipyard Boulevard Wilmington, NC 28412
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
The family would like to thank the staff of Clare Bridge of Wilmington and New Hanover Regional Medical Center hospice for their excellent care of Bobbie.
