He was born February 2, 1930 in Castle Rock, Utah to Samuel David Moore and Dora Staley.
He married Nadine Joan Fox and later divorced. Dale was an avid outdoors sportsman in hunting, fishing and archery. He was one of the founding members of B.W.B. Archery club. His favorite places were the Book Cliffs, Flaming Gorge, and Strawberry Reservoir.
His true passions were teaching archery to his children, grandchildren, and others, as well as spending time with family in the great outdoors. Having his whole family together was important to him.
He is survived by his children: Linda (David) Lynam, Steve (Karen), Danny, Alan (Amy), Daylene (Aaron) Stich, and Dale "Boy" (Chrystal); eleven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and brother Max (Floriene). Preceded in death by his parents, son Larry, two sisters, and three brothers.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 11, 2010 at Lake Hills Memorial Mortuary, 10055 South State Street (100 East). A viewing will be held two hours prior to the services at the mortuary.
